Photoshop: How do I disable Cloud syncing?

Since I've reinstalled (migrated to a fresh PC) all my Adobe CC apps, including PS 2020, I've noticed that there is NO option anymore to completely switch off cloud syncing.

The Creative Cloud Desktop only has an option to Resume syncing/Pause syncing. And after reinstall it started syncing right away. ☻

But I want it switched off! How do I do that? I've already looked trough all the options, but can't find it.

ps: please no discussion as regarding the pros and cons of cloud storage.
I just DO NOT want my files uploaded into some digital cloud...

Anyone?

The properties window (Explorer) of Creative Cloud Files folder doesn't have any option to disable it either. (as far as I can see)
(running the latest Windows 10.0.18363 Build 18363)

I agree, and too many things are hammering our computer to (secretly) update or sync. They cannot try just twice, but on and on... That kind of thing is disgusting for sure, and has been the case in the past with Adobe where they did this daily for close to an hour... In some cases it's also because of a preference you forgot to uncheck yourself -- there can be multiple ones.
For this one I think maybe you didn't look hard enough?
I have never let it sync, and in my versions (PC Win 7) it still seems I can opt for either.
Worst case, you could use a firewall, unless it makes things stop working.

Sorry?

I do think you are using an old(er) version of the Adobe suite.
Because the Creative Cloud Desktop changed its appearance completely!
It now looks like this:

There is no button sync on/off; just 'Resume/Pause sync'.

I want those Creative Cloud sync app/services/progs/whatever turned off completely, not paused.

I said "maybe"... ;) But wow... I guess you are right then. I'm sure my CC app itself is not up to date and one or two months old. I must keep it as long as possible then. Thanks!
Hopefully they simply renamed Stopped to Paused, and it's more or less the same thing... If they do mean Paused, it might sometimes be unpaused to secretly send logs etc.

The recent change is a horrible invasion. I am very disappointed that Adobe is pushing their cloud down my throat. There should be a way to turn this off.

Yes, I am fed-up with Adobe too and will look for an alternative.
