Différence in rendering for same image

Can someone explain me why I have two different renderings for the same image?

The first one is the “simple” raw of a DxO one camera.

The second one is the exact same picture, but is the tiff rendered from pixel shift.

This happens on both desktop and iPad. I’ve opened both images in photoshop and they are both 16 bit / channel.

Raw files contain much more details in shadows and highlights than tiff. But how these details will be revealed depends on your raw-to-tiff(jpeg) process. You can adjust shadows in converter (Adobe Camera Raw for example) and get almost the same result in your tiff as in the first image.

“raw-to-tiff(jpeg) process”

Oh really? Tell me more about it?
