Hello. Develop module is not working (Lightroom 3, Lightroom 4 trial). It shows error: ?: attempt to compare the number with strings. It works fine before... Operative memory, video card have no any bug or error.

Disable all third-party plugins. You have a bad one there somewhere.

The point is there is no any third-party plugins. Module refused after working with healing brush.

You could try restoring Lightroom's preferences.

All that is plugin is lua, but all that is lua is not necessarily plugin.

i.e. it's a lua error, but that doesn't mean it's a plugin error. In fact, if it only occurs when switching to the develop module, it probably isn't a plugin.

Adobe uses lua to "fit" ACR into Lightroom... and other things...

If re-installing program doesn't fix it, it could be a data based error, e.g. preferences, catalog, previews, ACR cache, etc.

PS - 1st or 2nd party plugins can have bugs too ;-}

Cheers,
Rob
