LIGHTROOM: Develop Module - 2nd Monitor Blurry Preview

I was using Lightroom 3 for a long time, but I really needed soft previews, so I had to update to 5 (and now 5.2). I am one of the 'lucky ones' that when using the develop module in dual screen mode, the 2nd monitor only shows useless blurry garbage. I have tried changing the catalog's "preview settings" to 2880 and High, but it is still blurry garbage.

I do not understand why Adobe had to take such a serious leap backwards with the new version. From doing searches, this problem has existed for years since LR 4.

I understand you implemented 'previews' to try to speed up LR. For those of us who can't stand pixelated crap in the 2nd monitor, please give us the option of disabling the preview nonsense. I am more then happy to wait the .5 seconds it will take for a proper 1:1 preview. My 2nd monitor is where my 100% loupe is, and it needs to be as sharp as the actual photo.

I agree, and want to add to your last comment.

I want it to not just be "as sharp as the actual photo". I want is to BE the actual photo.
