How about preference to set all adjustment keyboard shortcuts for destructive or non-destructive setting. i.e. Command-L could open the levels adjustment or if the non-destructive preference was on it would add and open a levels adjustment layer, in the "add an adjustment" layers in the Adjustment panel. Does this exist? Vote to have Adobe develop and add.

Can you convince me that this would be better than custom kbsc  if you didn't want to keep the Adjustments panel in your workspace and use that to select a non-destructive adjustment layer? We're going to continue to always need both in the most common of workflows, and I fear if we add another preference, especially for a legacy feature that is used when modifying masks, running actions and scripts,  etc., people could easily see problems arise unexpectedly with their invocation of one or the other preference.
