I have photoshop elements 8 and would like to have a shortcut to just the "Edit" part and not have to go thru the "Welcome to" window. How can I do this please, or if it's not possible, Adobe should make it possible.

Usually one would go to the program files/application folder of the pse 8 editor
or pse 8 organizer and create a shortcut to the desktop from:

PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe for the pse8 editor

PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe for the pse 8 organizer.

If you need further instruction, we just need to know your operating system
and version.
