Thanks for posting this Jesse! iOS 11 changed the way that renditions and originals are handled. In iOS 10, the portrait effect and the original image (both of which are captured and saved at the same time) were saved as two separate images. In iOS 11, they were saved as a single object in the camera roll with the portrait effect set as a "rendition" of the original. The current version of Lightroom Mobile opens the original only, however we've got a fix already being tested and we hope will be released very soon that will let you access the rendition (which in this case will ensure you get the image with the portrait effect).
