Instead of adding non-core functions (HDR, panorama), adobe should improve dematrixing engine lightroom dating from 2012 to at least reach the level of other current applications (dxo optics pro, capture one pro, ect. .... ) ?

its interesting that adobe is into features and not into quality. they rollout buggy slow product and thats good, but a well run with good performance application is not.

What do you mean by "the level" that should be reached compared to other applications?

And the demosaicing was changed in 2010.  2012 was when the toning model changed.

I'm sure Adobe has many areas of research and development that are not ready to be included in their public product, but that doesn't mean they are not working on something regarding demosaicing, just that it is not ready to be released into a publically available product.
