I am a new PSE 10 user. When I first installed it I converted a PSE 5 catalog to PSE 10. Because I am also in the process of reorganizing my images on a new hard drive, I want to scrap the conversion I did and start over. How do I do that?

I am converting from an older version of PSE. I converted a prior catalog, but now I want to start fresh.
I had images scattered all over my C drive, which I have now moved to an internal hard drive that will be used primarily for images. I want to start over with PSE 10, that is, not use the version I converted. How do I do that.

Hi Martha,

I guess you want to create a new catalog in which you can import and organize your media instead of working with the converted catalog. You can do this by-

1. Go to the main menu on the top and Click File >> Catalog
2. Click New >> Type a name for this new catalog and press OK

Now you can import media in this new catalog the way you want, like you said from your machine's local drive using File >> Get Photos and Videos >> From Files and Folders.

Hope that helps.

Thanks
