Delete Lightroom imported photos automatically from iPhone

I am coming from Aperture and find it cumbersome having to manually find and delete imported photos from iPhone.

I have no need to import all the pics I have taken with the iPhone as some are just for keeps for a while on the phone like bus schedules etc. and only some end up in Lightroom. After the import I have to find those photos one by one in my camera roll and delete. Why not an option to delete photos after successful import? Aperture has that option and I cannot see why Lightroom does not offer the same. Finding pics here and there is a lot of work.

There is a workaroud. I can do the extra work by importing with Image Capture to an OS X folder and then delete the pics from iPhone with one click in Image Capture. And then import the pics from that folder to Lightroom and get the option to Move the pics and not just Copy.
