When importing from ie. a phone.
Lightroom will search the hole phone (It do that on my Galaxy Nexus) and will show every picture and video on the phone.

I miss a way to say. only look in this folders on the device (and remember that for next time it's connected)
That way I do not have to look true all the icons, and effect pictures for phone apps or grafik from games etc.
I only want it to show the pictures from the folders that I define (and in my case would be the camera folder)

I know that Lightroom is not made for smartphones. But the best camera is the one you have on you. And something I do not have my DSLR with me.
But I would still want a good experiment with lightroom. No matter what device I import from

Make an Import Preset after setting the top-level drectory on the phone you want to import from. If this preset is not selected when you connect the phone, just select it by hand.

And may I ask how you do that?

Lightroom only shows me Devices -> Galaxy Nexus.
And I can say I want to view All Photos, New Photos, Destination Folders

I can't see anywhere where I can see single folders.
It is like Lightroom just see it as one media device. And wont look at folders.
If you brows it normal on windows, there is folders and all.

I don't know is has something to do with the Galaxy Nexus mounts as a MTP device and not a USB-Stick. And then Lightroom want to be smart and say, that can only be a camera or something like that.
