Lightroom CC: Selective Edits are only actioned when slider is stationary when "Use Graphics Processor" is enabled"

When "Use Graphics Processor" is disabled, applying a selective edit brush and moving (for example) the contrast slider results in the image being dynamical updated as the slider moves.

With Use Graphics Processor selected the image is only updated when I stop moving the slider (no need to release select) Note it is not laggy it wont update until the slider is stationary.

This is not a problem using CC Classic on the same machine

MacOS: 10.14 (but suspect it was an issue before, i remember  being unimpressed with the responsiveness compare to my iPad)

Jeremy,

I just tested on my Macbook Pro (Mojave) with and without GPU enabled and I see no difference there in behavior.  Everything updates dynamically as the cursor moves.

What pointing device(s) are you using?
Do the images have any intensive edits? Lens Corrections? Transformation? Lots of spot removals?

Hi, Rikk

Internal track pad, and no it was an unedited image up to that point..
Was your test on a MBP with a dedicated GPU ?

My MBPr has two GPUs, Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB and a Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB.  I am configured for the Radeon.
