1. Go to Edit>Find (or use Ctrl/Command+F).
2. From the Criteria section, select the XMP metadata that you are interested in searching (e.g. Keywords or Rating) in the first drop-down menu.
3. From the second drop-down, select the structure of the search (e.g. contains, does not contain, etc).
4. Enter the desired value in the third box.
5. If you would like to add more criteria, click the Plus ("+") button and repeat steps 2-4.
6. Choose your options in the Results section.
7. Click Find.

If you like the search and would like to use it again in the future, you can save it as a Smart Collection (at the top of your search results, there will be a button that says "New Search". To the left of this is an icon of an attache case with a asterisk on top. This is the "Save As Smart Collection" button).

Or, if you plan on saving this search up front, from the Collection panel, click the New Smart Collection button at the bottom right (same icon as discussed above). Then follow Steps 2-6, click Save.
