Can you post the last 20 lines from the PSErrorLog.txt file from the Photoshop preferences folder on your system?

I cannot create any shapes.  Tried trouble shooting with third party plug ins; but that's not it.  Would like to send the info from PSErrorLog.txt file but don't know how to find it.  Please advise

PSErrorLog.txt is a file in your Photoshop preferences folder.

I have seen you write this in other posts; but it is not in my ps preferences folder.  However, I'm looking at photoshop CC in title bar; then drop down to preferences; there is no pserrorlog.txt; there is:   general; interface; workspace; tools; history log; file handling; export; performance; scratch disks; cursors; transparencies and gamut; units & rulers; guides, grids & slices; plug-ins; type; 3D; technology previews; and camera raw.   Am I looking in the right preferences pane?

Not /Library, but ~/Library  YOUR preferences folder, not the system folder.

Chris, thanks so much.  I like working in software; not trouble shooting it.  So out of my comfort zone.  Anyway, thanks to you I was able find what I hope can help:

All of those errors are from bugs in third party automation plugins, javascripts, or extension panels.

Those are also from an old build, and don't have all the Photoshop CC 2015 updates installed.

how would I clean it up? How do I get updates if there aren't any listed ? Thanks so much for your help.

You might have copied lines from the beginning of the file (old), instead of the end of the file (recent).
Or you need to uninstall and reinstall the app to pick up all the updates.
