Lightroom Classic: Custom configurations for exporting

In my own experience with Lightroom, there are three or four different reasons I export image files and pretty much for a given purpose, the only thing that I change is the destination folder.  But switching from one of these configurations to another I find myself going through every possible setting for an export and thinking about how to set it for this particular purpose.

As a time saver, it would help speed things up if Lightroom had some provision for saving these configurations with user-supplied names so that the appropriate configuration could be quickly restored.

In the left column of the Export dialog page is the Add button with which you can save a named preset of export parameters.

In addition, if you select "Choose folder later" as the export destination when you initially set all the other setting you want to use over and over for a particular purpose, then when you export using that preset it will ask you what destination folder you want to use this time.  All the other settings will be as you saved them

Dan, it would probably save them time if they just made separate presets for each destination folder, rather than having to locate them each time. At least that’s how I’d go about it. Thoughts?

Situational.  If there are a handful of folders that get reused over and over then, yes a preset for each.  However, for example, I use a new folder for each monthly competition of my camera club so every time I invoke the preset the target is a different folder (i,.e. a folder specific to that month's competition).  So in this case using the "Choose folder later" option fits the bill as I create the folder during the export process when it asks me for the destination.
