Don't know if there is a solution, haven't found it yet. But the marquee cursors white outline makes the cursor to bloby why cant you turn that off under preferences / cursors?
I would call this a usability bug if nothing else.

Excuse big almighty Adobe are you just ignoring this?
In cs5 the cursor is nice and slim and changes from light to dark according to the underlaying color. In cs6 its like a sausage moving around.

Is there any preference to change this to the way is should be (the cs5 way) or is it yet another bug you won't address?

You told us you didn't like the cursor - ok. There's nothing to fix, because that isn't a bug, just personal preference.

No, there is no way to change the cursor appearance.

You got a response. There's nothing more to say.

It is not a bug, it is a personal preference. We heard you.

Sorry Chris, but its these kind of messages that makes you customers get annoyed

First. USABILITY bug, you get it? USABILITY bug, NOT PROGRAMMING bug, ok. If you just say "its not a bug" then you are just plain ignorant to the users and also just show bad manners and no respect or feeling for the customer to whom you are talking.
Second. What are the money back guarantees for Photoshop, you say I got a response, which I have not. Again bad manners not reading the post and not answering the questions. If you put some effort in a serious reply once in a while there would be at least a 50% decrease in post on this forum, but since you obviously have no customer experience and don't seem to give a damn anyway the forum gets flooded and you get a lot more angry replies than you can handle.

Seriously, if I were your boss, I would fire you in a second. No matter if you were the absolute best programmer in the world. You skills with the paying customers are terrifying!

Yeah, I've read a lot of you "answers" so I'm not only talking about the "response" to my posts.

How hard would it to just say "Hmm.. I hear you bro, I get what you mean. This could really be something to add in next version or in a major updater of CS6. Thank for you valuable input".

Think about that for a while when you pay YOUR bills with MY money

Again, you are not talking about a bug, just something that you personally do not like.

Again, we heard you. That's all there is to say.

Again - USABILITY bug. Is that word to hard for you to understand? Have you never heard of it? Do you think it's a "not-a-word" and therefor ignore it, like browsers do HTML tags they don't recognize?

Again - OBVIOUSLY you didn't here me or you just hate customers or maybe just one of those guys that can admit that they ARE WRONG!

Again - CUSTOMER CARE, would it really kill you to be juuuust a little bit humble towards your customers, would it kill you to admit you DIDN'T come up with the best solution, would it kill you to say "Yeah, we understand the problem, we will look in to it", and actually also do that?

Would that really be so terrible? Really? Seriously, really? Would it?
