Photoshop/Bridge 2019: Cursor simultaneously blinking in multiple metadata fields

I'm a fairly competent user of PS CC and LR CC, although the very latest versions are more confusing than past versions - however, has anybody else noticed that whilst adding or editing metadata to the XMP pane (cmd+option+shift+i), if you move to the next field, the cursor continues to blink in the previous field? (just found the same issue in Bridge). Initially, I reported this to Victoria Bampton (the Lightroom Queen, in the UK), and she says she can also reproduce the same problem, and calls it a "display bug". I'd appreciate a fix, as it's possible to not notice that the cursor is still working in a previous field, and then add erroneous metadata to that field, rather than the field you need to be in.

Howdy Michael,

Yup, I see it.  I think it snuck in with the last update.  I've gone ahead and logged a bug against it.  It should be addressed in a future release.

Thanks,
David
