Cursor disappears after drawing for a while

I am on a Surface Pro 4 with Windows 10. I am using Photoshop CC2018 and when I draw for a while, the pen cursor just... vanishes. I can still draw, but it makes transforming objects impossible outside of basic resize. My mouse cursor won't even show up. I have to close out of Photoshop entirely and reopen for it to come back.

Caps lock is NOT on, I checked the cursor setting and its set to normal.

Is there anything I can do or am I just stuck with this?

I have a Mac  and this does happen to me occasionally, I reboot the whole system and I get 3 or 4 months out of it, I know that is not a solution but it does work for me, I am sure some on has an answer

I'm concerned that its a memory issue, but the Surface Pro 4 is made for artwork and digital editing... maybe I should see about switching out of CC to a normal Photoshop, since I don't use the cloud functionality...
