Hi Jeremy,

What sort of problem are you getting. Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E should do Stamp Visible on Windows and that's what I'm seeing. What are you getting?

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

When I use the command Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E nothing happens. It is like I did not do a command Photoshop doesn’t prompt me with and error. It doesn’t react.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

What else do you have running at the same time on your Windows machine? What version of Windows are you running? Do you have a tablet, particularly a Wacom tablet, in use? How new are your drivers? What about mice and other pointing devices? It sounds like the keyboard command is being intercepted and these are common causes.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

I am running Windows 8.1 enterprise. I doubt that it is windows that is causing the problem because I do have Photoshop installed on another computer with Windows 8.1 enterprise and it is working fine. I do use a Wacom Bamboo CTH-670. All my drivers are installed and up to date because my computer is freshly installed (2 weeks ago) I installed all available updates for Windows and drivers. I went to Wacom for latest drivers for the tablet. Other than that Photoshop is installed on an HP EliteBook 8440p so it has a track pad and some kind of joystick on the keyboard. I will also join a list of all the services running on my computer. On the service list please tell me what you are looking for or how you would like me to attached and export of the services to this forum. I do have personal actions and paint brushes in Photoshop.

Howdy Jeremy,

I'd be willing to bet money it's either the Wacom tablet or the software that comes with it. I've been hearing a number of users with very similar problems. Basically, that software is intercepting certain keystrokes before they ever get to PS. The situation is worse on Mac than Windows.

I would recommend completely disabling the tablet software to clear this problem. I'm going to try and follow up with Wacom, although if a customer raises the issue, you might have more luck...

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

Thanks for the help. Tell me if you find any info about the driver problem. I tried to stop the Wacom tablet service but I didn’t notice that the function was forking in Photoshop. What you say is possible because I didn’t try the command before installing the Wacom drivers. I only started Photoshop after having my computer reinstalled and functioning. So the driver problem is possible. I will also try to see if Wacom can help me but I don’t know. Please keep me posted on the progress that you have with Wacom. Hope that we find the solution soon.
Thanks,
Jeremy
