Premiere Elements: CTI should optionally move to end of the previous clip after deletion and closing gap

Very often I have hours of raw footage  just in need of trimming (too) long takes or scenes.
Trimming is done by cutting a certain clip, then deleting and closing the gap.
My problem with PE2019 is that after the ripple deletion (delete and close gap) the CTI remains positioned at the timelocation of the end of the trimming which is now an unspecified time location in the rest of the footage.
In order to continue trimming I need to move the CTI back to the end of the now trimmed clip. This is of course done with the 'page up' key but that means to move the left hand from the 'delete' key on the keyboard to the 'page up' key and back to the 'delete' key for the next trimming cycle.

My idea for Adobe engineers would be to have a radio button or checkmark box in the Preferences to automatically move back the CTI after ripple deletion to the end of the previous clip saving countless minutes of keyboard usage when trimming raw footage.
