Nobody has even reported such a problem until now...

Have you installed the 13.0.1 update?
What OS version are you using?
When does it hang?

Chris I have installed the 13.0.1 update. I use Windows 7 64 bit or 32 bit system.
My hang up occurs when I save a new brush. The only way I can get PS to respond again is to actually close the project I am working on then restart the project. I do have auto save enabled. So I do not lose any work, thank God. This problem occurs weather I using the 64 bit version or the 32 bit version.

If if hung when saving a brush, you wouldn't be able to close the document.

When *exactly* does it hang? And can you give more details about why you believe it is hung?

After I make the brush, then go to Edit>Define Brush Preset. The next step I go to is Preset Manager. Once everything is done in Preset Manger and click Save Set>Done is when it hangs up. The way I have to close the document is to do a ctrl-alt-delete to bring up the Task Manager, then close the program.

Have you tried saving an entire set directly from the brush picker or brush palette?

So after clicking "save set" you do see the save dialog, and it hangs after clicking DONE.
And it is hung, and you can't close the project as noted earlier - you have to force quit the app.

I can download and install a complete set of brushes from the internet. Directly into the brush folder without any trouble.
Your statement is correct it hangs after clicking done. It is also correct that I have to force quit the program.

I can't reproduce this, and I haven't heard of anyone else with the same problem. I'm stumped, and on Windows there aren't any good ways to find out what the application is doing on a end user machine.

It may be something else you're doing (like background save), or it may be something else on your system causing problems -- I just don't know.

Chris, I do have background save enabled. I know its weird. I have CS2 and the problem does not happen in that version.
