Photoshop: CS6 Hangs when I go to File/Print

Up until yesterday I was printing fine. Today when I File/Print Win 7 immediately reports Photoshop has stopped responding (Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped responding). All other apps print fine (word/excel). Printers are Epson R1900 & BX635FWD. I've done a system restore to over a week ago - no change. Running x64 version. Windows is 7 service pack 1 all up to date. I've done a shft/ctrl/alt run of CS6 this made no change. Double checked my system with AVG - no reported problems. What can I do now? I urgently need to get some prints done!

Make sure you have the dot release. Help:Updates...

after that

Try this with the problem file.

1. Click on File Menu
2. Then hold "space bar" and click Print
-- this will clear the print settings for that file.

If that does not work

Try removing one of the printers.

If that does not work. Remove both the printers

Then

reinstall one at a time making sure you have the latest drivers and you have printed successfully with each printer before installing a new/next printer.

If that does not work. Try removing and reinstalling Photoshop.

David I now have found a further syptom. It is a legit copy from Amazon (Aug 2012), up grade from CS5 and it register with Adobe okay. help/update reports it as all up to date but System Info reports :-
Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x64
any idea

I've checked my invoice and it was bought from Amazon direct, is there any way/point of checking the serial no.
