CS6 crashing after warp-tool -- and cropping Actions don't work

Photoshop CS6 is a downgrade in stability and functionality unfortunately. Why is CS6 crashing after using the warp-tool?...
And why do Actions using the crop-tool not work anymore, even if they're recorded in CS6? It only somewhat works if you select the crop tool before starting the Action, but that kind of defeats the purpose of an automated Action.

Hmm, haven't seen anyone else crashing there.

Which OS version are you using?
What does the crash report show?

Module Unknown: that's odd.
Fault offset: 0x0 : that's doubly odd.

Do you have any third party plugins installed? If so, have you tried disabling them?

Have you done any system diagnostics (upgrade drivers, check for malware, etc.) recently?

Is there anything else different about your machines from a clean OS install and Photoshop install? (utilities, odd cards or drivers, etc.)

I found the problem -- if I turn off "Use Graphics Processor" in the Preferences it doesn't crash anymore. My Graphics Processor is NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT/PCI/SSE2.
What functions will not work if "Use Graphics Processor" is disabled?

Can I fix it with installing a different Driver?

Thanks!

Plug-ins folder is empty, no third party plugins installed in CS6, only in CS3.
System is clean an fine and up-to-date. Photoshop CS3 and CS5 run without a hitch.
Norton is up-to-date as well.
