I have cs6 using on macbook pro Mac os x 10.7.5. I'm working on photos and trying to save them as jpgs, this option is no longer showing up. I haven't changed anything with my system or program at all. In fact I was using the program just fine this morning and saving as jpgs. I've tried looking it up and some said to reset preferences (although I've never changed any) I did that and nothing changed. Some said to get rid of plugins that are not for cs6, although I just have one try out one that ended I deleted it. It didn't work either. Please help! :)

Odds are that your document is in a color mode or bit depth that JPEG doesn't support.

JPEG is built into Photoshop (not a plugin) and cannot just disappear.

Do you think it could have been an action that I ran on it? I did use a few new actions. The last few that I've done I didn't use any of the new actions and jpeg came up as an option.

Yes, if the action changed the color mode or bit depth. Look at the title of the document for clues, or the Image->Mode menu for information about the document mode and bitdepth.
