PHOTOSHOP CS6/ACR seeing corrupt RAW images

I have CS6 on a PC. I have a problem where RAW images in one file are corrupted by Photoshop immediately after they are loaded in Bridge or in Photoshop. Initially the photos load normally and look like as-shot photos. But then the photos are updated with overlays of random vertical and horizontal lines of random colors. The overlays are a little translucent so you can see a little of the original image. Any ideas? When converted to JPEG formats the corrupted image is produced.

That sounds like you are seeing the JPEG thumbnail, then once the raw file is decoded it shows corruption. That can happen due to corruption on disk, or when transferring the files from the flash card.
Also, have you updated ACR to pick up all the latest bug fixes?
