PHOTOSHOP CS6 CC throwing a tantrum, Red Mask in Liquify

For some time now I've had an intermittent problem when using Liquify, it used to be that when I upped the image to 100% CS6 would throw a red mask up, so of course all editing stops then, I could save anything I'd already done but would have to re start my Mac before I could start again, there was a point at which I thought it was related to my Color Munki so took it out and, for a while, everything seemed ok.

When the problem WAS there, If I used a smaller magnification (50%) it was usually ok but now the problem is back after a period of a couple of months and kicks in as soon as I open Liquify, re starting has no effect, Liquify is out, full stop.

I've been running Yosemite since it was brought out without problems and haven't updated anything recently so can't think where this might have come from. I've searched the topic list without finding anything, any ideas anyone?

Hi Terrence,

Try using the Marquee tool to select just slightly more then thw area you want to work on then use the Freeze mask to border the area BEFORE you work on it, this stops pixel creep when you move edges in Liquify, avoids holes.

This has been working for me every time, I think it was limitations of my computer causing it, hope this helps.
