Photoshop CS6 13.0.6: Re-install issue

I've gotten repeated warning about non-genuine software although my product is genuine.  The last time on Oc 24 2017, I spent several hours with tech support and the techie finally he couldn't solve my problem.  Cases were close but problem persists.

Details:  Downloaded adobe cleaner pkg, installed & ran it. It removed the Adobe CS6 folder and (Suppose) related files. Downloaded App Mgr and installed it.  Then downloadedPhotoshop_13_LS16.dmg , ran installer & began installation.  Prompted for S/N, which I entered.  Said no product matched it. BTW, the S/N is correct per my adobe login/products etc page.) then tried to install as trial and App Mgr crashed.

Relevant case numbers 0223530312 & 0189433898, latter has log file saved by techie.

I've received a coulee of emails saying the case is closed.  I phoned & got low-level techie who said the case had been referred up the line.  Meanwhile, I'm a daily user of PS CS6 who can't run the software.  Can you help me?

If you've ever installed a non-genuine copy of any adobe product on your computer, or modified any networking files so adobe can't phone home, you'll have issues installing genuine software. This isn't something anyone here can help you with. If you never have, then I'm sure support can help you out.
