CS5 BUG (on MAC running Lion from an update from Snow Leopard)

I just discovered I was missing options - Layer options - while watching a Matt K. (Kelby Training video on using CS5 for compositing). I reinstalled the product, and had to rebuild default cs5 settings after my reinstall - this wiped out my newly reinstalled layer options off my cd. So I reinstalled again, and this time was missing different options. Rebuilding defaults for users running an UPDATED version of LION is doing goofy things to CD5!

What, specifically, do you think was missing?

Reinstalling does not change your preferences, it just replaces the application binary and some support files.

I had made a quick selection, selected Refine Edge, went to select inner glow, and was missing the options on this popup screen. Was missing the ability to select a color, and the quality options were gone.

Again, I don't know whether to report this to adobe or or apple since i believe it is a bug due to my lion upgrade. All is know is that when I exited cs5. Reinstalled it using my cd. The option came back. the next time i reset my defaults after exiting cs5, it happened again. my new laptop (which came with lion already installed) i don't believe has this problem...have to check when I get a chance. But my iMAC which originally ran snow leopard, then was upgraded to lion (only after many attempts over several days when it was first released) has this problem.

I understand it is not supposed to do this, of course...that is why I wanted to report this.

Unless you've made a mistake, then the only options would be a video card driver bug (that fails to draw some of the controls), or a third party plugin conflict.
