Photoshop CS5 activation problem

i have a copy of CS5 for the Mac. I recently purchased an IMac, installing CS5, and discovered that I can only use it twice. I then de-activated it on all my Macs and I still cannot activate CS5 on my new iMac. To further complicate matters I had to return the 1st iMac I received on which I installed my version of CS5 as it was faulty. The fault was that I could not power up the iMac and was therefore unable to de-activate the version on the faulty iMac. I need to resolve this problem as I am unable to use CS5 fully.

I was considering upgrading to CS6 but I will not do this until this problem is resolved.
