CS5 and CS6 - both suddenly will not open on my mac. A month ago I purchased the CS6 upgrade, worked fine for a while.

I upgraded to Photoshop CS6.  It worked fine for a while as did my CS5.  Now, for some reason, neither one will load onto my mac.  I'm running El Capitan.  I don't get an error messages, just the whirly wheel, and I have to force quite them.  I thought I would get Adobe support since I just purchased CS6, but apparently Adobe doesn't offer phone support for this product.  Adobe used to be a reliable company, but they seem to be slipping.

Hi, no, I'm quite skeptical about upgrading any more.  CS5 ran perfectly for me for years.  Also at some point the older software will not work on these new platforms.  If anything I regret upgrading to El Capitan.

I run both versions, I keep CS6 just in case and I have had no issues

I restarted my computer and now they both open.  The restart fixed this issue a week ago, but now it has started again.  I'm surprised that Adobe doesn't have support for products people have just purchased. I regret the updgrade.  Everything was fine before I installed CS6.
