After upgrading to OS X Lion, Photoshop CS4 (11.0.2) crashes each time when dragging Layers in the simplest scenarios. Help!

It appears that something has changed in Lion that causes this failure in Photoshop CS4 on certain hardware configurations. We're working with Apple to investigate this issue.

At this point, the best recommendations are:
• Use the keyboard shortcut workaround ( Command + [ to move layer down, Command + ] to move layer up)
• Downgrade to Snow Leopard ( Mac OS X: How to reinstall a prior version: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2597 )
• Upgrade to Photoshop CS5

I have also tested Uncheck "Automatic graphics switching" in the "Energy Saver" portion of System Preferences.

This looks to be a good solution as I have also stopped crashing.

I will communicate this information to Apple.

Marking this work around as "solved"

We will continue to work with Apple to fix the root problem.
