Photoshop CS4 - Mac OS 10.8 - crashes when I try to move layers.

I recently installed OS 10.8 and CS4, both are updated to the latest updates. I have 8MG ram, PLENTY of disk space, 2.6 Ghz Intel Core i7.

When I open Photoshop it either "quits unexpectedly" or if it does open and I try to move a layer, copy a layer, or copy the layer style, Photoshop quits out.

I found this post on the blog...
Pete Green says:

Try resetting the Photoshop Preference file:
Hold down Command, Option, Shift immediately after starting up Photoshop.

A dialog box will appear asking if you wish to delete the preferences/settings file. Click Yes.

See if that helps out.
If not, then please post the issue with as much detail as you can for the team to help out here:

Anyhow I did that, Photoshop worked one time and then when I closed down the program and reopened it, I'm back to the same problem.

I uninstalled CS4 and reinstalled it and ran updates... same problem.

Please help!

You mean it crashes. What does the crash report say?

If it's crashing in QuickDraw code -- try turning off the automatic GPU switching.
