Hello, I just upgraded from Intel Mac from OS 10.4 to 10.7. Ya, it was a big jump. But my Photoshop CS 2 won't install now; says it doesn't work on "power book." Is there any possible way to get Photoshop up and running on my upgraded system now??

CS2 was PowerPC code, and your new system has an Intel processor, plus MacOS 10.7 no longer includes even an emulator for PowerPC processors.

You need to upgrade to a more recent version of Photoshop.

Thanks for the response, Chris. But my CS 2 has worked on this computer, an Intel Mac, for years. It is only now that I upgraded from 10.4 to 10.7 that a problem has arisen. Perhaps there was a special version of CS 2 they sold me at the Mac Store at the time. Intel Macs were very new at the time (5 or 6 years ago—which this machine is).

I don't want to discourage you, Chris. I thank you for taking time out to write to me. It's very nice of you to reply.

Perhaps someone else has an idea?
