Hi I just recently joined the free online version of photoshop but I got dissapointed with cropping and resizing a photo these features were very limited, there were no grid and customization tools available. I wanted to adjust a standard photo to a 2inx2in square size and also retouch/paint it with some color backgroud and I couldn't do it : ( if someone knows how to do it please let me know Thanks

Because Photoshop.com is web based, it doesn't have the ability to use cursor based tools (e.g. Paint Brush, Clone Stamp, Dodge/Burn). Also, overlays like grids are not available. Additionally, since this the web, 2 in x 2 in doesn't mean anything, that's a print setting only. Although you can resize like that in Photoshop, you are really only setting up future prints. The edits in Photoshop.com more closely resemble those in Lightroom than in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements Editor. But we continue to add features to Photoshop.com and one day we may be able to figure out a way of doing this.
