Photoshop: Crop tool has ruined my project

I was using the crop tool to expand my work area for a certain project. I hit enter to confirm and the tool freaked out a little. Im not sure exactly what it did, so i undid everything and saved. When i tried to close the program with command + Q (im on a mac) the program would not close. I forced it to quit and came back later to open my file and try working on it again. When the file opened, all my layers were gone and only one remained labeled 'Crop Preview' that was completely empty and had a background layer of white. I can't seem to recover anything, undo, or history back. All of my paths are saved, but all layers are gone and about two months of work have been reduced to a plain white background.
There are no prompts to accept the crop preview or cancel it.. Please help

I'm facing the same problem here, can't retrieve my layers after using crop tool.
Did saved it before though, but al I get when I open the document is a blank layer saying "Crop Preview". Almost seems like it's some kind of mode but don't know how to get out of it...

Did you found a solution yet @Ian Baker?
