Photoshop CC: Crop tool does not crop correctly

I am trying to crop at 4x6 at 300ppi. What I got after I cropped over 70 pictures, were image sizes like the following; 9.133x13.699, 15.39x10.26, 11.267x7.51 etc. none of the photos cropped at 4x6 at 300ppi. I had to open the photos, and resize in the image size pull down menu..Any one have an idea about this. I am using the newest online version at $10.00 per month. Do I need to return to my old ps5 and forget the new Photoshop?

Hi Lee,

I'm not able to reproduce this. When I crop something with a 4x6. 300ppi preset, all the files come to 4x6in @ 300ppi (or 1200x1800px).

Can you share a screen shot of your tool options bar settings? (The bar across the top when the crop tool is selected)
