Future request: add "CROP function in quick develop mode". While making a first selection, it is often quite handy to take a quick look of how a cropped version of the image looks like. Going to Develop mode and return to Library for that is very time consuming.

You know there is a crop ratio already in Quick Develop, I'm sure. So you actually want to adjust the crop boundaries themselves?

You might need to explain why you're finding going to Develop and back to Library slow. R key will take you straight from Library to Crop view, and G or E keys take you back to Grid or Loupe view in Library. What are you finding slow about it? Image loading time?

For my purposes I would like to adjust boundaries. I often switch to dev to crop as part of my culling process. I understand the quick dev tools are meant to be a subset of dev tools. I'm sure there is a looong list of features that a small percentage of users would like. I have no idea how many would like this.

I think he mans that the crop ratio isn't variable like the normal crop tool. But I learned something from your post. I like the R and G/E keys which make it easy for me to now switch back and forth. Thanks for the tip!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Would love a quick crop in the library / quick develop module..

The library / quick develop module is a great place to make quick basic changes, but there are a few things missing.
Top of my list? I would love to see some kind of crop mask or overlay on each thumbnail.
