Photoshop CC: problem using color picker with text tool

I am finding bugs with text editing in PSCC Mac just trying to use the color picker (in the menu bar) -- sometimes the color picker won't pick up the color; sometimes it picks up the color, but then deletes the text string I've got selected (as if I hit the delete key). Sometimes I cannot position the cursor in the string and use the arrow keys to re-position the cursor. Happens to text also when attempting to use a layer style color overlay.

This and the scrubby slider bug, the inability to set Tracking in the Character palette, and the inability to scale text properly is absolutely killing me this week. I cannot work on .psd files now.

Uninstalled Photoshop CC + Preferences and reinstalled, but the problem is still as bad as ever.

So far I haven't heard of anyone else having problems with the color picker on the text tool.

Tracking/Scaling is a known issue that we're testing a fix for.

What happens at 0:13 (and subsequent places) in the video is the text "deletes" by itself after selecting a new color with the color picker.
• There is no reference in the PS history stack.
• The arrow keys will not reposition the cursor in a text string after this event until PS is restarted
• The phantom-delete behavior is reproducible 100% of the time

Carl, this problem should be resolved in the latest update of CC, released yesterday.

Thanks,
