Photoshop/Lightroom: Creative Cloud application does not list installed updates

Whenever a new Photoshop CC or Lightroom 5 version is released by Adobe, the Creative Cloud watchdog in the menu bar is going to tell me about it dozens (no kidding) of times over the course of weeks after I already finished the update to that new version. This is really getting on my nerves as you cannot distinguish that way between just getting notified of the "old new" version again and again, and a "really new" version. Could you please, please fix this?

I'm on Mac OS X 10.9.1, and both Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5 are installed at their respective standard locations in '/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC' and '/Applications', respectively.

Thank you!

Hi! Thanks, looks interesting. I'll definitely give it a try (although the described symptom doesn't exactly fit my case).

Cheers

Hi, Pierre,

after I followed the instructions I had to wait a bit to see whether this changed anything. And unfortunately, today once more I was prompted to upgrade Photoshop CC. Thanks anyway.

I have to say that more and more I regret having subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud model - there is no incentive whatsoever to fix annoyances like this anymore for Adobe. As I can see from this issue I can't even open a proper support issue for this, just start some ridiculous community thread. Or am I missing something?

Regards
Heiko
