Creative Cloud has forgotten that I used it to install Lightroom.

I purchased the Photoshop & Lightroom versions of Creative Cloud, and have been running both for months since then. With the 5.4 release of LR I went to get CC to manage the update, and discovered that rather than listing it as installed and needing an update, it's listed in the bottom with other uninstallled software and the "install" button.
I use it daily, and can't think of anything I've done that would cause this error. Not really sure how long it's been since CC lost the plot there.

Rene, have you resolved this? If not, my only suggestion is to uninstall Lightroom from your OS, then restart, sign into the CC and install the 5.4 version from there.

There's more info here about Lightroom and the Creative Cloud: http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/l...

Resolved by virtue of the fact that I ended up replacing my old system over the weekend. Mostly worried that it could happen in the first place, as it suggests the digital distribution system Adobe is using isn't as robust as it should be.
