Shared video on the Creative Cloud Assets do not open in Safari or on iPhone.   They work find in Windows or Google Chrome.   On the iPhone you can get the video to play once you select download.    In Safari it does not play.   It plays fine in Chorme.   Brand new Macbook Pro 15 inch touch bar.   OSX High Sierra.

Hi Paul,

I have the same Mac and OS and all is working fine here. Do you still have the original video file? Perhaps just deleting it and re-importing it will do the trick.

Rick,
Thanks.    The specific problem is when I store files in the ASSET portion of Creative Cloud.   I think make the file public and save the Share Link.   I think attempt to view this link via Safari or on my iPhone.   The player controls show up but no video is played.    If I just view the file in my Creative Clould account on my Mac or IPhone I can view and play the video.   It is only when I use the Share Link that it does not play.    This same share link works fine in Google Chrome and in the Windows browser on my studio PC.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Paul. We were able to reproduce the behavior and have logged a bug.

As a workaround I was able to right click the original video in the CC Assets Files folder and choose "View on Website". From the page that opens I was able to copy the URL from the address bar and share that instead.

Thanks again,

Rick

I continue to have the problem.   It always works in Chrome but does not work in Safari.   I have tried your expample above again and it does not work on any videos.  I have a numbrer of videos in my account and none of them work in Safari or on my iPhone.  They will play on my iPhone if I click the download link.

Here is the link using your method:

Here is the link if I use the Share Method on Creative Cloud:

As noted previously either method works on Chrome and other non Apple products.    I have a number of videos on the site and they all behave the same way.

Hmmm... Your URL does not work for me either but when I copy my own link it does work. Weird. What type of file did you use? I used a .mov file.

Here is my link. Let me know if you can see it.

Well, it's all good info for the engineers. They are already working on it so we will have to wait and see what they find. Thanks again for your help, Paul.
