Crash when Sync is On

Initial condition: No syncronized photos and lightroom running.

Sync pause = NO crash

Sync on = after 2/3 minutes lightroom crashes

Run lightroom and pause sync = after 2/3 minutes lightroom crashes

Run again lightroom = NO crash

... and so on ...

Hi Mauro,

To investigate more on this issue, could you please provide more information on this.

1) What is your Lightroom Classic version ?
2) Was Lightroom syncing any photos when you turned on sync (like uploading/downloading) ?
3) How many assets are there in your catalog?

Also, can you try this workaround and let me know if Lightroom Classic crashes or not :

1) Create a text file and name it 'config.lua'
2) Add this command in the file, DigestManager.dontCalculateDigest = true
3) Save the file
4) Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Presets > Show Presets.
5) Go into the Lightroom folder.
6) Paste this config.lua file there
7) Quit and Relaunch Lightroom again.

Thanks,
Arjun

1) Now I have version 7.3 but the problem presented itself with 7.2.
2) Crash occurs when synchronization is active, even if it is not loading or downloading anything.
3) I have more than 44.000 photos.

... and crash occurs only with a specific catalog, the main one I use.

Now I'm trying your solution...

Thank you

I found this official issue that suggests your solution. Are there any contraindications?
