Merged

This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: Photoshop: Option to hide cursor on wacom cintiq

A lot of us have been waiting for this for a LONG time, and the only plugin that addresses this is windows-only. It's very distracting to have to look at a virtually useless crosshair or brush outline when we have all the visual feedback we need.

I've been using Photoshop for over 20 years and never have I seen Adobe take so long to adapt to such a simple request that thousands are asking for.

Seriously. Make it happen, please!

Yes!!!

This would be extremely useful for those using a Wacom Cintiq Pen Display and for doing screen recordings of painting.

I'd love to see this take the form of ArtRage Pro's cursor preference that allows users to set the opacity of the cursor.

I've attached a screenshot of ArtRage Preferences > Cursors > Precise > Opacity for reference.

If I could vote for one "just do it" feature for 2020, this would be it.  (I think.)  :)

I could not work without a brush outline (I miss that when painting on iPad), but a dimmed cursor like that in ArtRage would be very welcome!

Astropad has a setting to hide the cursor already.

You will it in the drawing options in the Astropad iPad app.

The option is there, but a cursor is still visible. This is why people are asking for invisible cursor option in photoshop or via a mac-based plugin.
