Cannot copy/paste from Illustrator in latest Pshop (15.5.1) as I get the message:

Could not place because the Postscript data is empty or invalid

El Captain 10.11.6

Had to roll back Illustrator to 2015.2.1 AND Photoshop to 2015.0.0 in order to be able to simply copy & paste shape layers from Illustrator to Photoshop. Please FIX ASAP.

Bug confirmed by Adobe Tech Support (after 90 mins on the phone with them).

There is a known conflict with the application Notability which will cause the behavior described. If you have this, uninstall it and you will be given the option to choose how you paste from Illustrator to Photoshop. If you had the program installed but no longer have it but still encounter this behavior, make sure all parts have been successfully removed from your system.
