Photoshop CS5: Could not initialize photoshop because of a Program Error

I've suddenly gotten this message when trying to launch CS5 on my iMac. This is what's listed in my PSErrorLog.txt file:
 /Volumes/workarea/PS_12_Mac_Daily_Retail/20110407.r.1265/photoshop/main/photoshop/xcode/../sources/PSOWLListenerProxyBaseCocoa.mm : 52 : REQUIRE failed

It comes up with the error message when it hits the 'initializing panels' phase.

I tried deleting my preferences when PS was booting up and that didn't solve the issue.
I unlocked my library folder and that didn't solve the issue.

My iMac is running 10.10.5 (yosemite) and I have 12GB of RAM installed.

This is a new problem. I did a fresh install of photoshop recently and everything was working fine, but then I downloaded some updates, which I think could be causing the problem.

Can anyone please help me with this? I'm not switching over to using CC, as I think it sucks.
Thank you!!
