Offer a "Do not show in future" checkbox for this dialog. It is unnecessary to remind us that every time we switch to another program/desktop.

I could not agree more. It's 2017... this feature should have been offered years ago.

What Adobe SHOULD be doing – at least on the Mac – is using a NOTIFICATION for this issue.

The age of modal dialogs ended decades ago. And yet here we are being dragged back into Photoshop every time we switch to another program.

This is an absolutely infuriating problem, and has persisted for years. I need the clipboard, because yes, I do sometimes copy and paste between programs. For Adobe to suggest that we turn the feature off completely when all they have to do is replace it with a MacOS Notification is absurd.

A simple slide-in Notification in the upper right corner of my screen would be infinitely better than forcing application focus BACK to Photoshop ten times a day. This is an EASY FIX. The MacOS technology to do it has been available for years, and Photoshop users have been complaining about it for far longer.

Please wake up and do it, Adobe.

Unfortunately I can't do that. I clip things in and out of ps often while working.

Just the other day I was watching a designer demonstrate her process and that danged dialog kept popping up during her video—over, and over, and over. She has great equanimity, a very low-key person, but even she eventually muttered about this. She wouldn't want to turn off the preference, either. She definitely knows enough to do so, but it really shouldn't be something she has to keep going into Prefs for. Adobe developed a standard for a do not show again checkbox, and this appears to simply be one they've forgotten about. Hopefully, it can be a simple JDI and bring it into line with other pop-ups.

I can say this much as someone watching a video demonstration, and not just as the one privately inconvenienced by this from time to time as I was before this—it looks really bad for Adobe software if everyone watching this sees how often it can pop up during a demonstration.
