Could not complete your request because the file was not found. I'm getting message when I try to open up photo's I was working on an hour before CC told me there was an update. Very frustrating, working to a deadline and can't access my files. Any ideas?

I’ve been wrestling with something similar lately, and have luckily saved all my files on an external thumb drive. While some of the files on my hard drive are not recognized as TIF files, the same files on my thumb drive are still recognized. If you don’t have a redundant saved file, you might try read downloading and reinstalling Photoshop

Not sure if you are Mac or PC based, but if you can locate the file manually! It appears the 2018 products are littered with bugs, InDesign has a similar problem where it won't start a new file instead telling me "the file is damaged error type 0", sounds to me like the cache files are corrupting, I fix InDesign with a quit and relaunch, so maybe try Quitting Bridge a relaunching? Hope this helps?

Yes:  don't do updates when you're in the middle of a project with a deadline.

HELLO???

OK, it's not an idea.  It's a lesson.

Can you tell us a little bit more about the problem you're encountering?  What were you doing when you triggered it?  What OS and version of PS are you running?  I see you've noted Bridge -- are you opening PS docs in Bridge?  What kind of documents?

There might be a bug, but without more details, it's hard to help you through it.

Thanks,
David
