Lightroom: Corrupted images in v3.5 Win7 64-bit

When importing NEF files from my Nikon D300 via USB, I use my desktop (running v3.4.1 64-bit Win7) to save the images to my Windows Home Server via Ethernet. After closing LR on my desktop, I do my culling/developing on my laptop (wireless), which is running v3.5 64-bit Win7. While culling two of my last 4 shoots, I've encountered groups of 10-15 images that a) would not load a preview, b) loaded only a blurry preview, or c) appeared as a grey square with no thumbnail.

After closing LR, I found that some of the files (the ones with no thumbs) were corrupted to the point that they cannot even be deleted from the server. The blurry ones were still blurry when viewed in 3.4.1, so the damage is permanent. I have not experienced this behavior with images that were only viewed/edited in 3.4.1.

My only recourse has been to rename the folder containing the corrupted files and re-import the images from the camera. The behavior is sporatic, so luckily I have been able to get through them the second time with no issue. But I need a permanent solution.

I'm considering downgrading to 3.4.1 until the next version comes out.
