How can I recover my corrupt PSD file after a power failure?

my psd is corrupt in PS CS 6, because my electric can I recover my file??????

If the file won't open correctly in Photoshop, you can try opening it in another application that reads PSD files (and may ignore the corrupt section).

But odds are that you won't be able to recover the file.

If your electricity failed, then the drive didn't store the last several seconds of data to the platter, or it was wiped out when replaying the journal (which is never quite complete).

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled My computer crashed today while photoshop CS5.1 was saving/writing to a psd file.....

When I started my computer back up, and tried to open the file again, It only displays 1 layer shown as a corrupted image (As Shown Below - the Red Image). When I click on the file in the "Open" window (The Gray Image Below), the psd shows up correctly in the Preview window but doesn't show correctly when opened. I have lost all of my layers, by the way I have worked on this psd for weeks and I need some way to recover it.
