Bridge: In the metadata under Copyright Status there is no option for Creative Commons. All of the other options are not quite suitable. Can Creative Commons be added as an option?

Creative Commons is definitely a copyright license (just like Apache or GPL or any other open license.) It should be marked as copyrighted.

On the technical side, this data is stored in the xmpRights tag which is a Boolean- either true, false, or empty. There isn't an easy way to add another option without breaking all of the existing images containing this tag.

IPTC Rights Usage Terms is probably the best place to put CC licensing info.

Thanks for your response David. Yes, Creative Commons is a copyright license and that's what we use, however a blanket 'copyright' in this instance is not quite suitable for our requirements. We do elaborate in IPTC Rights Usage Terms. Thanks for confirming we are doing the best we can within the set structure.

Thanks Stephen, I'll have a look at this. I need another cup of coffee first though to be able fully process. Cheers :-)
